A unique sale opportunity exists to purchase a rare piece of Australian Transport history.
Ansair Flxible Clipper 111 was built in 1957 and is one of 131 Clippers manufactured in Australia during the 1950’s. Only 30 of the 131 remain. This rare coach has been meticulously restored. For the last 10 years it has operated as a 15-seat limousine coach. It is fully engineered to meet all Transport NSW registration requirements for a Bus Operator Accreditation as a charter service, including thorough RMS inspections.
AF 111 is ready to work or play. To the innovative operator it offers proven opportunities for wedding and specialised charter, movie, media and promotional work. For the person seeking a fun lifestyle, it can be transformed into a recreational vehicle with very minimal effort.
AF 111 has been rebuilt from the ground up. Chassis, frame, body, paint, panels, interior, engine, gearbox, suspension and steering have all been restored to the highest standards. The Clipper has a modern interior with leather seating, a restroom, kitchen, fridge and 2 air conditioners, powered by a separate generator.
